Race entries and payments, without the faff.
RaceHere is where you enter races and pay for your place. It handles the entry, the payment and the confirmation that lands in your inbox afterwards, so you have what you need on race day.
Browse the race calendar, pick your event, and fill in the runner's details. You will be asked for what is needed on race day: name, date of birth, an emergency contact, and any questions specific to that event. Payment is by card, and your place is confirmed as soon as it clears.
Every entry you hold appears under My entries, so you have the details to hand when the morning comes.
You do not have to be the runner. One account can enter family, friends or club mates, and the person running does not need an account of their own. Choose Someone else when you enter, and tick the box to save their details if you expect to enter them again: saved runners are prefilled next time, and you can manage them from your profile.
Where a runner has an email address on file, they get their own confirmation telling them they have been entered. The receipt for the payment goes to whoever paid.
Some events are grouped into a series, which you can enter in one go, usually at a discount on the individual entry fees. Where merchandise or a charity donation is offered alongside an entry, you can add it at the same time, and add Gift Aid to a donation if you are a UK taxpayer.
You can join the waiting list. If a place frees up and it is your turn, we email you a link to claim it, with a deadline attached. Places pass to the next person on the list if an offer is not taken up in time.
What is possible depends on the refund policy for that race. Some races allow a refund request, which is reviewed before any money moves, and you are shown the amount to expect before you send it. Some allow you to pass your place to another runner instead, up to a cutoff date before the event. Both start from My entries, and the Terms and Conditions set out the rules in full.
Card payments are handled by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout and are never stored by us. What we do keep, and why, is set out in the Privacy Policy, and the rules around entries and refunds are in the Terms and Conditions.
